Hello! I’m Anna Dolliver, a writer, artist, polyglot, and Fulbright Taiwan English Teaching Assistant. I love exploring cities, making and viewing art, befriending animals (and people), and building community through writing.
Last May, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin after studying Mandarin language, English literature, and creative writing. I spent the past summer studying Bahasa Indonesia in Yogyakarta through the United States-Indonesia Society Summer Studies Program. In August, I moved to Kinmen, Taiwan to start my year as a Fulbright Taiwan English Teaching Assistant. I will be sharing notes from my journals, thoughts on teaching and writing, anecdotes about life in Kinmen, and other stories on this blog. To learn more about what I’m doing in Taiwan, you can start here.
